Our Pre-Entry ESOL class is a gentle introduction to English for women who are complete beginners or who have very little experience with the language. The class provides a warm, supportive, women-only environment where learners can build confidence step by step.
What the class covers:
Very basic everyday vocabulary (family, numbers, days, simple objects)
Understanding and using simple words and short phrases
Practising simple greetings and everyday expressions
Listening to and recognising common words used at home and in the community
Reading simple words, signs, and familiar names
Writing letters, basic words, and personal information
Learning useful English for daily life through practical activities
Teaching style:
Calm, patient, beginner-friendly approach
Lots of repetition, visual support, and hands-on activities
Small, supportive group where learners can take things at their own pace
No tests or pressure — just steady, confidence-building learning

Outcome:
By the end of the course, learners will feel more confident recognising and using simple English words and phrases, and may be ready to progress to an Entry 1 ESOL class.
