This training will teach you everything you need to know to assist a child who is ill or has been injured before the emergency services arrive. It meets the OFSTED requirement for the Early Years Foundation Stage. It combines one day of hands-on training on-site with an online module to finish in your own time at home.
This course is for Mums, Mums-to-be, Grandmothers, and Professionals working with children.
The 12 hour Paediatric First Aid electronic certificate is awarded once both the theory and practical modules are complete. The certificate is nationally recognised and can be used as part of your registration with Ofsted.
A maximum of 12 students can take this course at any one time. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
Login details are automatically sent for the online learning module upon enrolment with 20 multiple choice questions to complete.
On the practical day you will be assessed on how you administer first aid to an infant or child in accordance with the training you received during the hands-on practice session.
