You will learn to confidently respond to a range of emergencies involving children and infants, including:
Checking for signs of breathing
Assessing injuries
Placing a child in the recovery position
Infant and child CPR (resuscitation)
Managing choking incidents
Treating bleeds and managing shock
Responding to seizures
Recognising and treating anaphylaxis
Identifying and responding to common childhood illnesses
Upon successful completion of both the online and practical components, you will receive a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
