DESCRIPTION:This comprehensive training is designed to equip you with the essential skills needed to assist an ill or injured child before emergency services arrive. \n£22.50 registration fee \n\nWho is this course for?\n\n 	\nMums and Mums-to-be \n\n 	\nGrandmothers \n\n 	\nProfessionals working with children \n\n\nCourse Structure\n\n 	\n\n 	\n1 day of practical\, hands-on training at our site \n\n\n\n\nCourse Content\nYou will learn to confidently respond to a range of emergencies involving children and infants\, including: \n\n\n 	\nChecking for signs of breathing \n\n 	\nAssessing injuries \n\n 	\nPlacing a child in the recovery position \n\n 	\nInfant and child CPR (resuscitation) \n\n 	\nManaging choking incidents \n\n 	\nTreating bleeds and managing shock \n\n 	\nResponding to seizures \n\n 	\nRecognising and treating anaphylaxis \n\n 	\nIdentifying and responding to common childhood illnesses \n\n\nCertification\nUpon successful completion of both the online and practical components\, you will receive a Paediatric First Aid Certificate. \n\nAdditional Information\n\n 	\nClass size: Maximum of 12 students per session \n\n 	\nMinimum age: 18 years \n\n 	\nAssessment: Practical skills assessment during the hands-on training day
